- Provision of a replacement car, terms and conditions apply. The customer must contact Accident Exchange first, the call must be within 8 Hours of the accident, the accident must not be as a result of the driver driving dangerously or under the influence.

- Storage service is available if your car is unroadworthy or insecure.

Do you know your legal rights following an accident?
Do I need to get three different estimates for the repair? No it is a myth that 3 estimates are required. Your insurance company request this to choose the cheapest quote. Why would you compromise safety and quality for the sake of cost?
Can I choose which repairer fixes my vehicle? Yes, it is your legal right to demand where your vehicle is repaired. We will even provide a class A courtesy car if the accident was your fault whilst yours is in for repair. (Subject to terms and conditions, available on request.)
AND IF IT WASN'T YOUR FAULT?
Am I entitled to a similar replacement vehicle, whilst mine is off the road? Yes if the accident was not your fault and there is an insured fault party, you are entitled to a replacement vehicle on credit hire. The cost of the replacement vehicle is one of your losses which will be recoverable from the fault party's insurance company.
What if I get a replacement vehicle, but the other party disputes liability? When you get a replacement vehicle, you will be provided with a complimentary insurance policy which, provided you have accurately reported the accident to us and assist us in your claim for losses against the other party's insurer, will cover you for vehicle hire charges, repair costs and legal expenses if those costs cannot be recovered from the other party's insurer. A copy of the policy will be provided when the replacement vehicle is delivered to you.
What if my vehicle is written off? Your vehicle may be deemed un-economical to repair, usually if the cost of repairs is more than a certain percentage of the current value of the vehicle. You are entitled to stay in a replacement vehicle for a period of up to 7 days after the write off cheque is received.
Do I have to pay my insurance policy excess? In most cases, no. However, in very rare cases, in order to have to have your vehicle repaired quickly, you can claim on your own insurance and then recover the excess from the other party's insurer when making your claim for losses against them.
Will my no claims bonus be affected? It may be temporarily affected, depending on your own policy. However, on the successful completion of the claim, your no claims bonus will be reinstated.
Can I claim for out of pocket expenses and depreciation costs to my vehicle? Yes, any reasonable expenses arising directly as a result of the accident may be recovered. When your car has been involved in an accident, assuming it has not been damaged before, it may suffer a loss in value due to having been in an accident. You may be entitled to compensation for this loss in value.
