No problems - just a straight forward visit. The people at Westerly are very friendly and nothing is too much trouble.
Westerly were very good but the fact remains that I wasted a day of my life having to bring my car in for a recall so BMW goes down a little in my estimation for building my ca4 with a fault.
Nothing to fault
This was a recall visit, which Westerly fitted in at very short notice, because we were driving abroad within the next few days. Everything completed and courtesy clean included.
Sean is excellent looks after me very well he thinks of the best way to work out pricing the job and not going for the most expensive way He knows how much my car means to me

We always get good, professional but friendly service from everyone that we deal with at Westerly BMW in Exeter.
Excellent service from arrival at the Service Reception , a technician was called to take a ride to experience the "rattle" in the drivers door, he immediately identified the problem, silicone on the high gloss trim, which was resolved immediately.

It is always small points that create dissatisfaction and in my case having had new pads back and front the technician then failed to screw the dust caps on fully. This resulted in all the caps flying off somewhere and I had to purchase a new set!!
My car was returned to me spotlessly clean and on time
They agreed to the date I requested and I very much appreciate the collect and return service. It provided a personal contact even though I never go to Westerly in Exeter. However they could not claim that gear shifts are now always smooth and easy.

The fault that I asked BMW to fix was not fixed. I was told it might be due to worn brake pads, so I agreed to replacement brake pads, but the warning message still appears!

They did a good job but such a new car shouldn't have needed any work.
Booked a complementary valet clean and level check. No evidence of any levels being checked. Car was not very clean. Boot had not been vacuum cleaned at all.
The staff are always very friendly and curtious, nothing ever a problem.

I was worried after an incident on the road, and the team at BMW reassured me by giving me a visual health check on my car. They spotted no issues, and even cleaned it while it was there!
Professional and recognition of customers
to receive an actual video from the mechanic who mot'd my car was extremely pleasing. I have never received this service before and felt it went beyond the normal customer service expected. Excellent

After service car cleaned inside and out with follow up e.mail containing video of under body with reference to exhaust, suspension, tyres and brakes with report of wear and the various components.

When I spoke to them regarding the checking of a further tyre on the car as it was losing air they said they had done a thorough check of all wheels but another tyre had a nail in it. They did not reset tyre pressures or check them either!
Westerly had to order a new part so I did not have a car. But it was sorted quickly

Great place and people
It would of been higher, but the free bus tickets in to town is no substitute for a free ride and collection by car, as happens at other BMW Service Centres.

Because they did the job while I waited, it was done quite quickly. Very nice cup of coffee as well.
It is always very straightforward and efficient. I never have a problem with the car and have confidence in the way the garage look after it.

Apart from the online booking system failing, everything else was good.

What I needed doing was done, to time and no problems. Plus kept in touch so I was aware of timings etc.
4 out of 5 .a specific request to see a component in working order was videoed but actual operation of the gas sensor being activated was not shown.
Because everything was done quickly and had the car back the same day.
All done satisfactorily in the timescale I set on the day. My only comment would be the long lead-time between booking the service and the actual service because I needed a loan car.
All work done as promised in the time indicated.

The service was done well and the car was cleaned. We were given free bus tickets to get in to Exeter whilst the service was getting done.
I have dealt with Westerly for over 15 years . The service staff generally know me by name and are always polite, knowledgeable , efficient and helpful. My courtesy car was brand new ; something which I did appreciate to be entrusted with.

Dealer Service - The experience from the initial handover, car required cleaning, sale man had very limited knowledge of the vehicle and subsequent services have left a lot to be desired. Lacking customer attention and care.

The sales agent, Richard Perrett really looked after me and made sue I completely understood the car before taking it away. He came on a test drive with me which really helped me feel at ease,
I was taken through the choice ,price , and availability of vehicles on the motability scheme in a relaxed unhurried manner ensuring I ordered the right vehicle for my purpose- especially as I needed an adaption fitted (a hoist in the boot )

It was done well
Too much pressure by sales to collect the purchase price before even a delivery date for the purchase. Owners handbook was not pointed out at handover and was told there was no handbook. I later found it in bottom of boot. I object to £60 admin fee.
