Electric Week at Westerly Exeter BMW
In order to celebrate Electric Week Westerly Exeter hosted their first EV (Electric Vehicle) meet on Saturday 27 Feb. The event was not only for current EV owners but also for those new to EVs and who wanted to find out more. Held at Westerly Exeter BMW’s showroom the meet was a great success. With over 30 EV enthusiasts in attendance there were many great EV ownership experiences shared.
Kirk Broome, Head of Business at Westerly Exeter BMW said: “It was a great day with lots of visitors - both EV owners and prospects, plus others who wanted the inside scoop! Ecodrive were brilliant and supported the day. They gave a different perspective, as well as expertise on the competitors. Our furthest traveller was in a TESLA who travelled down from Yorkshire, recharged at Darts Farm and slept in his car overnight with his wife! Now that's dedication! The other TESLA owner also travelled about 150 miles to be here and he is looking at an i3 for his wife.”
Vince Mann, Westerly Exeter BMW Sales Manager said: “We’re delighted with how well the event went on Saturday. It brought new people to the showroom including those who own other manufacturer’s electric cars as well as our own. The commitment of EV customers is second to none and we love to learn from them.”
