Polite, comfortable place to sit, washed car, reasonable price
I have never had any issues dealing with this dealer.
Also it was BMW who had put the service indicator on without me requesting it. The service manager was more concerned that I had gone elsewhere to get my brakes done and begrudging said they would look it over to make sure the work was carried out
Very professional and courteous
I booked a courtesy car for a service but was told on arrival that it would only be 1 hour. However, it was 1.5 hours and no courtesy car was either. Not really big issues in the grand scheme of life but left me with a bad feeling.

Westerly repaired the car faster than they expected. They appear to have done a good job, but I have lost confidence in the car.

on the occasion when you were not able to do the service due to insufficient mileage at least you did a basic check on the car and valeted it and provided bus tickets into the city.
Work completed in full and car returned cleaned and valeted.

I gave 4/5 because gentleman who deals with me was complaining to me about another customer. This is not professionalism and certainly not expected from BMW.
Gremlins in the system. Unfortunately on my last visit an advisory on the dashboard indicating faulty parking lights ended being a case of no fault found. Modern technology sometimes one does wonder.

Timely check in. Friendly. Service and MOT seems Ok, but I would have preferred more explanation of items covered in service without needing to check on pick up. Also would prefe a service booklet with recorded servicing in one place.

Always completely satisfied
Car was washed and in great condition. Diagnostics were run and systems updated without a problem.
The staff went out of their way to ensure I was kept in the loop during the service and even offered to get me a sandwich for lunch.
Getting through to the service department can be very hit and miss when calling. I could not get a price for the service over the phone so I checked on line, when it came to pay Exeter bmw the cost of the service was £50 more than advertised online.

Service at Westerley, Exeter has been above reproach; in the past, I could not have said the same for other BMW distributors in the London area.
The service itself was efficient and took the time designated. No problems here.
Reasonable service costs. Booking on the car was easy and ready on time. Only minor quibble is that I thought cost for fitting front brake pads was a little expensive.

Excellent staff and service
The service reception was excellent but when the car was returned the mechanic had not put any protective covering on the drivers car seat or put any paper protection in the drivers footwell - carpet was marked - not enough care or attention taken.
There was minimal waiting. The courtesy car was readily available and the paperwork was sorted swiftly

A head lamp fitted by one of your other garages had failed prematurely (before the 2 year warranty had been reached) and was therefore covered under the warranty. But your garage did not have the same part and i was charged for a lesser unit

Great level of service and communication
The personell at the check in and dispatch point were very professional and friendly. I wasted a lot of time booking the car in. The post service wash and vac was very shody.
When my car later developed a suspension issue and had to remain in the garage for longer than expected, they kindly arranged a loan car to keep me mobile, and they even washed and cleaned my car whilst they had it. Exceeded all expectations.

Don't know what you done,but car feels like it has lost 10-15% Of its acceleration trough the gears.

The service was good but the service reminder on the Dash was not reset therefore another trip to the garage in due course to rectify the issue is a disappointment!
The service was fine. But the procedure for booking the service date and following up on the day was very poor. Relevant people almost never available, as busy with other custimers or away from the desk. In my experience, voicemails are not returned.

The salesman we dealt with took the time to establish exactly what we needed. The collection was timely and the car was immaculate.
A last-minute administrative problem over Westerly's allocation of the registration number meant that we had to re-arrange all the insurance documentation with our insurers over the weekend prior to the Monday car delivery. Tricky, but just made it.
